    So, I have been playing with my build.prop recently... doing just about everything I come across from LCD Density to Wifi scan time... I came across this thread :

    http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...reat-battery-life-fast-phone-full-market.html

    with droid x edits... now, 2 things in there I would love to fix I dont have in my Build.Prop the two are:

    windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=55

    and

    mot.proximity.delay=450

    Can I add these two into my build.prop and if so, where would they go?

    you shouldnt have to add anything, you should only change values that are already there.

    and what if those values dont exist?

    just to play devils advocate what would happen if I used the build.prop from an X on my D1?

    I appreciate your response, but I generally don't just jump into things without reading and understanding them... hence my thread/question.

    Doesnt seem to be much literature on this subject

    Well, went against my better judgment and went ahead and added the things I didnt see in build.prop

    they both seemed to my eye-dyno to work... and oddly enough my benchmark improved to 1470 with quadrant.

    so, changes to my stock build.prop
    ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=1
    windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=80
    wifi.supplicant_scan_interval = 120
    dalvik.vm.heapsize=40m
    ro.sf.lcd_density=192
    FRG22D fingerprint
    all Stage Fright Values @ True
