Nice thing about this is that it has the stock kernel, so it isn't overclocked. Pete then provides various kernels for you to pick from to apply after installing BB. That should help those who want his rom, but don't overclock, or for those who had issues with the default OC's. I'm running Chevy's 1.2 kernel and it seems to work well with BB1.1.

V1.1 is gold. Completely stable under load and room-temperature cool with Chevy kernel 1.2. Highly, highly recommended. :icon_ banana:

Which kernel (besides the stock 550Mhz one) runs the coolest? Or is there much difference. Thinking about going with Chevy 1.2Ghz, but I don't have much knowledge over which kernel is going to be the best. I don't plan on running more than 800Mhz, so really I want the one with the lowest voltages and temperatures.

so how would i go about "upgrading" to v1.1 (if i wanted to) without having to wipe?

SPRecovery using the update.zip correct? and how would i install the kernals (esp which one to choose and why they are important)

    I r a noob. :D

    thanks for help!

    Links to the BB 1.1

    AllDroid - View topic - [ROM 2.0.1] Bugless Beast V1.1 (2/22/10) STABLE

    I use the update.zip method

Update.zip Installation Info & Instructions (No Data Loss):
-You can upgrade from any rooted ROM that is 2.0.1
-Be sure to have signed into your Google account before installing
-Update (if available) all of your apps before installing
    -Download update.zip
-Uninstall any apk & odex files I previously moved to /data (Only If Installing Over 0.7 Or Previous ROMS)
-Place update.zip on the root of sdcard
    -Reboot into recovery
    -Install
    -Allow update.zip installation
    -Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)
    -Enjoy!

with BB 1.1, the OC kernel is excluded. You have to pick from one of the available optional kernels if you want to take it above stock. I chose Sholes...I don't think there is a bunch of difference between the various flavors of OC kernels...but I could be wrong.

    If you want to OC:

after you install the BB 1.1 pick an optional kernel. Download it and change the name to update.zip and drop it in your SD Card. Follow the same steps above. Then go to SETCPU and pick your desired frequencies.
