    I think I'll wait till these updates slow down and the dust settles until i decide to try and upgrade from 0.7.5 again...

    You know, I have been following BB for a while, and stopped at version 7.6 because it is 100% good. Seems like he has been rushing, trying new things to push out to folks without testing completly. He went from 7.6- 1.0 in just a few days, and things are still broken.

    Im sticking with 7.6 until he comes out with an update that is truly solid. If not, he needs to change the name of Bugless Beast, to Bugless Beast w/ some Bugs

    Haha lol I dunno, part of me want to keep with my working 0.7.9 (aside from drocap2). But part of me really wants to flash it!!

    I have to agree though the last stable/fast version I flashed was 0.7.6. That was truely beastly! Booted so fast and worked really fast!

    Changelog doesn't look like its enough to update from this mornings 0.7.9 I already have people who wonder how my droid works so much faster than theirs.

    Also I'm totally rocking one of your skins after buying beautiful widgets today JonKyu. The chrome looking one is very nice.

    Yeah I agree, the changes seems very sparse but if it increases stability and performance I might just take the bait lol. I'm debating whether or not I really want Live Wallpapers...

    Lol glad your enjoying it!! Thanks for the compliment, means a lot to me :icon_ banana:.

    Here's a logical answer to your question.
    -why do u have beautiful widgets? lets be realistic, it looks nice.
    -why do u want live wallpapers? lets be realistic, it looks nice
    so there you go, and if you dont understand what i just said, then start thinkin =]

    .7.5=most stable build
    .7.6 = new kernel, same stability (for most)
    .7.7.= JIT enabled
    .7.7 = JIT disabled
    .7.8= Live Wallpapers
    .7.9= same but buggy!
    1.0= live wallpapers removed

    in other words, stick with .7.5 or .7.6 for now ;)

    I made it up to 7.8 and everything seemed fine.
    Going to 7.9 gave me an email issue where none of my emails would send. I was receiving them fine, but anything I composed would just stay in a "sending" status.

    Did a wipe and went back to a previous backup. Same thing.

    Had to go all the way back to nandroid copy I had right after rooting (email worked) and then reloaded a nandroid of 7.4. Back to 7.6 with no problems now, and I think that is where I am staying for a while. :)

    I tried 1.0 and it works great. However, I went back to 7.6 because I feel it's the most stable @ 1.2GHz. And 1.0 brings the max OC down to 1.1GHz. BOOO, lol.

    Yeah, but at the same time, there seems to be a need for some stability checks before pushing them out. Pete has a rep for stability and has been pushing to much to quick lately.

    I hate to tell you this after all that work, but I had that email issue going into Smoked Glass, and all I had to do was go into Menu-settings-manage applications-menu-filter-all, and clear the data from the gmail apps.

    I'm sure those who are having problems appreciate the quick updates to fix things..

    And the updates have been 0.0.# which (should) mean very very minor update. 1.0.0 should be a good stable build if numbered right.

    I am pretty interested in 1.0 - I see that in like .78 or so a mention of "fixed problem with signal" which I THINK is the issue I have been having (WiFi and Cell signal are very weak). So I am watching the 1.0 threads very closely to see if I should update (I am on .76 right now).

    So here's to hopin that 1.0 is stable and reliable :)

    Take care,
    Rob

    Here's my observations from 7.6 through V-1.

    1. 7.6 was and still is a very stable rom with a very good signal strength.
    2. 7.7 was blazingly fast and was totally stable if you disabled all animations thereby ending all the "Live Backgrounds" stuff. I think that is why JIT worked so well on my Droid.. I really liked the speed. However, it suffered in the cell signal strength and signal stability areas.
    3. 7.8 Had good stability if you turned off animations. Bad signal strength and stability.
    4. 7.9 Same as 7.8 on my droid.
    5. V-1 Very stable, hated giving up the little bit of speed, but it's very stable. I still had to do the busybox chmod fix. But everything works after doing that. Cell signal strength is great. It is better than my phone has ever seen. Wifi Tether works great and fast with the strong 3G signal.

    Dude, where were you 3 hours ago???
    Thanks. I'll keep that in mind next time. I had pretty much convinced myself it wasn't a ROM issue, but I couldn't figure out anything else to do to fix it.

    Just so I know if there is a next time.. Clear the data from both Gmail and Gmail Storage?

    Don't know if it's necessary to clear both, but I did.

    Man, you're gonna make me go back on what I just said and move to v1 from 7.6...
