Open Terminal Emulator and do the following:

    SU

    chmod 755 /system/xbin/busybox

    Reboot

All will be fine then as this should fix your root permissions issues.

You may have to turn off animations in menu/settings/Sounds & Display/animations to make this rom run with stability.

However, you really should load the V-1 that Pete uploaded yesterday. It solves all these issues.

The problem with that Bayou, this that Su returns 'permission denied'

Battery pulls have worked for me.....but I always check with a su before.

Forget 7.9 and go to V1. AllDroid - View topic - [ROM] Bugless Beast V1.0 (2/20/10)

    Those issues will go away.

Cool. I understand that. I was totally in love with 7.7's speed. I run with animations off all the time because I love speed and that makes the Droid even more Snappy. But the only problem 7.7 had that I could not live with as the poor cell reception. I got a Benchmark of 119 with 7.7 and I am a speed junky. But, had to change. So, we pay our money and make our choices. Good luck and have fun.
