So I decided to give the motorola droid a look hands on at the verizon store today..... yes I really want a nokia N900 but alas until TMobil builds out or I move to Europe.....

I could not for the life of me manage to get to a non mobile version of certain websites youtube for example. I was constantly redirected to the mobile version of the site.... this type of "user friendly" crap is a deal killer for me.....

Is there a way around this with ought having to hack root? (another issue... but...) Or has another chunk of good hardware been turned into a brick by folks overcharging for providing no service.....

Sorry to be so negative. I was hopeful when I actually enjoyed the keyboard and could type well on it and my hopes were dashed...
