Broken volume button

I don't know how my volume button broke but my guess is I probably dropped. I was wondering if there was any way to fix it without having to go to a repair store. Any suggestions?

did you ever find out how to turn up the volume for the voice ?

No The top part is stuck and only the bottom portion of the long volume part,
which only lowers the volume. i have to keep going to settings sound to turn the volume up, but for some reason - most of the time when someone calls me the volume is so low, i can barely hear them.

Is it the volume up or down?? I know of a software fix that is relatively easy. I've had to do iton one of my droids....it basically remaps the camera button to be the volume down....if that's what ya need lemme know and I can help u out

Ahhhhh, well the person u need to talk to is jeffv2. He is the one who wrote the script to remap the keys, I'm sure he can modify his orig script to make it for the volume up instead of down. He isn't on that much anymore but he can definatly help u out.

the volume button is stuck on the up part and i cannot push it to turn the volume up.
it only turns the volume down. if you guys can help, i would really appreciate it.
