    Brilliant Swype tip

I take no credit for this, but wanted to pass it along.

Over at Lifehacker, reader kz posted the following tip on Swype that he found in this thread on XDA:

    [Tips & Tricks] Last Update: 09/13/2010 ** Please Read Before Posting! ** - xda-developers

    Here's the tip:

"In swype (android), slide from the tips button to sym, or from tips to f and you get extra keyboard shortcuts, to selected/edit text."

This provides navigation and text management tools, and is a really brilliant feature that I have not found mentioned anywhere in the Swype documentation. This works on my Droid 1 with the official beta.

It is a great tip, but it is not undocumented. It is in the help file under editing keyboard.

Fair enough-I had not found it previously. Thread title has been edited accordingly.
