Yeah, Sorry if I double post, My Tethering is a bit laggy.
I can boot into recovery.

ok, boot into recovery and wipe data and cache, reboot and see if that gets you out of the bootloop atleast. Then we can try to find something to get you unrooted.

Try wiping a few times... sometimes that works. If not you will probably.have to sbf.

what causes it to do this? I dont understand how its so hit and miss.

yeah unfortunately the OP has a Mac so the steps to flashing an sbf are quite a bit more elaborate.

75 % of computer users are pc's, so if he's not a fanboy and hasnt alienated windows users, im sure he's got a friend with a pc or access to one to do this. it takes about 15 mins.

droid 2 global bricked

Hi I have the same problem. Im stuck in bootloop and Im getting a replacement phone from verizon. I want to erase all signs of root from my broken phone. I have a mac and a droid 2 global. how can i flash sbf's using a mac

Longstory short, You cant. Unless you install windows through bootcamp, Thats what I eneded out doing. Im not sure if theyre the same as they were a few months ago. but ive sent back a rooted phone, no problem.
