I know, I guess I'm challenged, I tried updating to the new froyo ROM and something somewhere has gone wrong and it is bricked and I have tried to restore to my old ROM and it isn't working. Can anyone stear me in the right direction if I can unbrick it?

You should be able to restore it with what justin82 gave you. So far I've seen one person actually brick their phone. It's pretty hard to do.

Nvm, I just reinstalled 2.0.1 software with RSD. Thank you for the smiley face though. Sorry to waste your time.

Edit- if anyone is bored and would like to help me to install froyo, that would be wonderful. As of right now, it is unrooted, so I am going to try to find one that is unrooted so that I don't mess with the phone anymore than I have to and get to know root better.

I don't know if anyone has installed Froyo but is it supposed to take a while to start up the first time because it keeps shutting off and on and displaying the M and I am doing everything that it has told me.
