Boot up logo and screen

Well, decided to change the boot up animations. Is it as easy as pulling the zip file, oog file and changing the pics and sound then saving them over the original? Keeping the original files just in case though. I'm on tapatalk right now so I can't link the threads in using for the moto logo.

Changing the boot animations is easy. Check out boot randimations in the market. Its awesome.
The logo i change using p3droid app.

I just looked at it and it has more than a few bad reviews. Hasn't been updated since March. Have you used it recently and which android version are you on?

I use it everyday. Never had a problem with it. I've got over 50 boot animations in the apps folder on the sdcard and it changes the ba for you every time you boot the phone. He don't update often bc he has other sod he works on. The randimations app is the first one that gflam made if im not mistaken..

It worked on my d1 and now my bionic. I'm on ics. But did work on gb.

Ya, I seen all the bad reviews and also wondering if this works on ics.
Also, I just want to change it once, not every time I restart.
I'm either going with an Army 82nd Airborne theme, Ranger theme or AH-6 Little Bird theme. Might do all three if I get the time and the first one works out.

Yea just replace the zip file and ogg file and over right them.
