I don't really know what to call it... but I'm excited about this boot animation that I made. lol So, figured I'd share it with all of you. :)

    Attached are two versions:

bootanimation_v1 is like the animation shows, the... swishy thing only goes one direction.

bootanimation_v2 the swishy thing goes both directions. I was just too lazy to make another animation for it.

Here's the link for the second boot animation: LINK

Let me know what you think. :)

    Ummmm... trying using Terminal Emulator?

    su
    # cp sdcard/bootanimation.zip /data/local/
    # reboot

If that doesn't work... I have no idea. I had a hard enough time getting this to work for me. Haha.

Glad you like it though. :)

Oh... and make sure you rename it to bootanimation.zip. Just in case you didn't see that it was named bootanimation_v1(2).zip...

Dosnt make a diffirance if i name in bootanimation_v1.zip or take away the v1.. It is still a light blue "android" and all black. Have you tried downloading the link and placing it on the phone?

I would really like to get this to work because i like this Animation!!!:icon_eek::icon_eek:

Just downloaded the one in the link, installed it using the Terminal Emulator commands... and it worked fine.

So I honestly have no idea what could be causing the error for you. I dunno man...

On bugless beast I just renamed it to bootanimation.zip, put in the sd card root, and use the switchboot script. Worked like a charm
