Bluetooth question....

If I were to use bluetooth headphones to listen to my music will a phone call 'break in' to the music. I realize with just headphones I wouldn't be able to actually answer the call but it would be helpful to me when I'm out riding on my bike to know I'm getting a call for an emergency.
