After trying everything I could think of with every Android device I could get my hands on I had finally given up on getting a PC bluetooth keyboard working with either my Droid or my Adam tablet. Some things sort of worked but nothing was stable and reliable... so I resolved myself to waiting for some future update to Android that included stable HID connections.
On a whim I tried my Apple BT keyboard with the Droid 3... and it works flawlessly. Natively.
