you don't need 2.1...I was on DroidMods 2.0.6 ROM (Which is 2.0.1 based), and did SPRecovery Nandroid restore and am now running BD's UD 5.0 (ERE25).Follow this: Nandroid Backup Installation Instructions:
-Update & backup any files you wish to restore, this will wipe /data
-Extract the files from the archive using WinRAR or a similar program
-Place the extracted folder (the ROM) into the "nandroid" folder on your sdcard
-Reboot into recovery mode (hold the power and "x" button at the same time)
    -Wipe data/factory reset
    -Wipe cache partition
    -Backup/Restore
    -Advanced Nandroid Restore
    -Choose backup (select the ROM)
    -Perform Restore
    -Enjoy!

Do This Bro, Make sure you do a Nandroid Backup, I backup data and apps with with my backup pro (market app). Download the ultimatedroid5.zip, extract it, place in nandroid folder, boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset scroll down to yes, (i love this feature btw) wipe cache partition, backup/restore, advanced nandroid restore, (i check everything), choose backup, select ultimatedroid, Perform Restore...It's all right there on the page! http://www.droidforums.net/forum/an...-5-0-ere25-base.html?highlight=ultimate droid
