OK I loaded up Black Ice onto the 2nd Froyo release via RM, no problems with the install.....however it killed my 3g access. I could not get anything to load in the browser, it kept telling me that I don't have data access.

I have since flashed back to Clean Black and everything is fine. Never had something like this happen without some sort of warning (f/c, laggy response, etc) It was running smoothly but just couldn't use 3g.

I also have lost my maps after installing this theme. It shows up in root explorer, but won't install. I am not able to install it from the market either. Any suggestions? I love the theme, but need the maps. Thanks!

bgill-LOVIN' this theme so far, but why wouldn't I--all your sh*t is tight. just noticed a few small things that i'll pm to you that could be fixed sometime when you only have 4 or 5 irons in the fire, instead of the 14 you have in there now ;) Quick question for you guys though, how are you changing the shortcuts on either side of the launcher tab? would like to at least get the new icons on there if not change the apps.

What are you guys going before you lose maps? Do you just flash the theme and poof its gone? I just don't understand how that can happen

That's it. I had it on stock 2.2 and when I flashed this theme, POOF, it's gone. However, like I said, I still have the maps.apk in root explorer. It just won't install. Kind of a bummer because this theme is the BOMB!

Well a tempfix until I can look at more is go back to stock remove maps.apk from theme zip then flash the theme again. You will have the stock maps but at least it will be there. Oh oh I hate this theme lol

Those of you with the map issue could try the fixes in the linked thread. I followed the instructions there before and got my maps issue fixed up. What ended up working for me was running the following commands in adb and then I could download the Maps app from the market (not themed though).

    adb root
    adb remount
    adb shell rm /system/app/Maps.apk
    adb uninstall com.google.android.apps.maps

This is without a doubt the slickest theme I have run since flashing to Froyo. I am looking forward to Red Rum.
