Black Google Search Bar Widget

ive seen a couple people post screenshots with a black google search bar... like the stock one the dx comes with..but black.. not a modified "darksearch" one.. you guys know how i can get one? THANKS!

sorta like this one..but with the regular blue google logo..and without the "darksearch' text..

I could be wrong but it almost looks like an ADW launcher theme. I haven't seen that one before. Sorry.

Oh, lol. Usually comes with a themed ROM. Or if you throw a theme on yourself. I don't know of a zip file just for a themed search bar. But that doesn't mean there isn't one out there.

Thanks man..looks like darkslide will be put on when I get off work...do u know if have to use adw..or would launcherpro be okay?

You could use either launcher and still have the Dark Search.

That pic is my "blacked out" google search. It is a standalone app.... if you want it you can click in my sig to go to my section...

Just click ecsnead69's sig and you could find everything you need. To answer your question, yes, if you decide to use the Blacked Out theme you will have the Dark Search with either launcher you use.

I don't know if chkmate themed his own Google Search, but you could check out the ROM he's using: DarkSlide V4.1 and see if its part of it.

Either launcher works. But it looks above like someone has a stand alone app you can use for it

I still suggest giving Darkslide a try
