I finall got a new battery today at Verizon and they were installing taskkiller while I watched saying this this is a battery fix..I told the dope techs that I read up on this and they said that was a fix or use an app called auto memory. What do you think works? I have read the posts on task killer and it makes sense not to.dancedroid

use neither. idk what auto memory is but it sounds like an automated task killer.

I used Advanced Task Killer for maybe a month because the guys at the verizon placed installed it then uninstalled when I noticed nothing was different, no speed increases or anything. In fact, it just ran in the background half the time and I don't do anything with it and never noticed anything which is all the more reason why I've uninstalled it. No issues what so ever and seems like the Android OS is managing the memory just fine without me having to kill everything in it's path.
