    Interesting.

    I was tinkering as usual.

I ran the rmlauncher command. Then I tried to use bettercut in Helix and I could not create a shortcut with it.

No errors...it just simply did not create a short cut.

Same issue with me... I ended up removing the custom HelixLauncher and downloading from the market - that worked for me (but I had to reinstall BetterCut.

are you guys able to edit any home screen shortcut with your own icon with helix? I cannot seem to make it work no matter what I do. I emailed the dev and his only response (to my very detailed email) was "it only edits shortcuts on the homescreen"
its odd that it will let me edit standard stuff but I can't make a new one for facebook or anything I download?

I have plenty of Icons I created on My Helix2 Launcher Home screens, nut I had to
    1. create them on the factory home screen
    2. switch to Helix Launcher
    3. select the shortcut that now appears in the list with the custom icon already attatched and press the create button

The custom Icon showed up fine then. I don't like this because the original home screen is running in the back ground.

I know a lot of people are renaming the original home screen so the system can't find it and using Helix as the default.

Has anyone tried to rename the Helix application to the originals name and see if that allows Bettercut to add and customize icon directly in Helix(2)?
