I love this app but I cant seem to get it to accept bash as my default shell, even though I have it installed to /system/xbin/bash. Whenever I start it up it either either goes to the ash or sh shell.

How can I get it to default to bash and source /system/xbin/bash_profile?

Hello,

This problem has been fixed in BTEP v3.24, uploaded to the Android Market last night. The new version includes the option of using BASH as the default shell, in addition to Android Shell, and Almquist Shell.

If you select "Android Shell" then you can change "Command Line" to whatever you want, as well as "Initial command." If you select BASH or Almquist shells, then a default "command line" is used, and instead of "initial command" the .profile script in the BTEP home directory is run.

There are also some other bugfixes and the ability to start the shell as "root" in Better Terminal Emulator Pro v3.24.
