Whats the best weather app? I thought about weather bug but heard it uses tons of data
i use weatherbug elite. have tried many others and always came back to it.
not sure about the data, i have unlmtd so dont care. but i do have it set to update only once an hour unless i open the app.
in the last 9hrs it:
but i did make a 6hr round trip to NJ today so i dont know if thats typical.
Weather Timeline gives 5 options for source data and provides a clean ui. Widget is also quite customisable. My preferred weather app at the moment.
Are you looking for a full featured weather app or a good weather widget?
For me these are some useful weather apps
Yahoo Weather is the best-looking app. If you want a *very* simple black-and-white super-basic weather app that offers great short-term (within the next hour) very localized and ACCURATE forecasts, get Arcus. It's ugly simple, but when you launch it and it checks your location, when it says "rain beginning in 9 minutes", that means ... it WILL rain ... in exactly NINE minutes. I trust this thing well enough to decide to drag an umbrella into the grocery store. But it's worthless for anything else, and the long-range forecasts it offers are laughable, totally off every time.
You can try google weather app or Yahoo Weather app. Both are best.
