Best Way To Charge Your Droid

Is it better to slow charge a Droid (via Computer USB) or fast charge (via Plugged Into wall receptacle)?

I would prefer charging via USB (via mains or PC) because it help me don't to have to carry around a specific charger. I see that some major brand Android tablet manufacturers(Motorola, Asus) as well as some smaller brands either use a separate power input (non micro-USB) or a dock, rather than fast charging.
