I've been using slayher kernels (LFY ones) lately, and tried some p3 kernels, but in this week I feel like my battery has just moved down to nothing.

What kernels are good for battery life? I tried toning down the speed from 1.2 to 1.0 to see if it helped... it hasn't seemed to.

Since every phone reacts differently to rom and kernel combinations I'm not sure that I can answer. I suggest that you try several and see what works best on your particular phone. My two cents.

Yeah, I know... just figured I'd ask anyways. I've switched through four ROMs in the past week and three kernels and my battery life still seems to be sub-par.

Have you checked the battery use to see what is draining your battery? Do you have a task killer?

I wonder what people consider good battery life? I get 12 hrs on a heavy use day, 17 on a light use day. Currently running liquid froyo with slayher 1.1. I usually run chevys ulv 1.25 but this combo is workin nicely

In a perfect world a ULV kernel would give you the best battery life, but as previously stated, every Droid is different.

The only way to find out is to test test test. :)

Personally I had GREAT results with ChevyNo1's 8-1 ULV 1.1GHz kernel. I moved on from that to a P3 kernel so I could get Compcache working after SlayHer's kernels ate my battery like Michael Phelps having a heavy breakfast.
