I am trying to find a cool home launcher. I love the SPB shell 3d but it costs 15 bucks... Any suggestions?

My backup to that is GO Launcher. It is pretty good itself.

I used Launcher Pro for almost 18 months. Then I switched to Zeam Launcher (it's simple with fewer features, but has a very small footprint on both resources and app storage). I am now on SPB and it is worth $14.95 as compared to the other launchers.

    Good luck.

Is it really worth the $14.95?... I love how it looks but thats as lot just for a launcher.. Does it load up quick? Dkes it crash at all?

It probably will not be worth it to a lot of users, but it sure was for me. I play with/use my phone constantly and have found this to be the most innovative and functional launcher available. And I make that statement after having used every launcher that has come out in the last two years for the Droid1 and Bionic. I have had absolutely no issues with the launcher so far - no lags, no FC's, no reboots, etc. My phone is rooted and debloated and I am running a custom rom (not sure any of that matters, but just a full disclosure). It does load quickly in that once it's running I've had no redraw/lag issues. If it is being started the first time or you shut it down and has to restart, that will take a little longer than the less complicated launchers. But the memory that the Bionic has, I've had no performance problems with this launcher.

    Good luck.

I'll second what Bayou says. I have Liquid loaded on my Inc 2 and am using SPB. I have most of the other launchers installed, LP, ADW, GO, and still come back to SPB. The eye candy and functionality are a perfect combination. I can't wait to get the Nexus with the larger screen to install this beast. And it really isn't all eye candy. This launcher is purely functional as well. I can't recommend it enough. I'm constantly tweaking it and adjusting it, not because of glitches, but because I am finding newer ways to refine my layout.

I had to put it on 3 phones because everyone in the family demanded their own copy... Lol yet all 3 phones look totally different due to our personal style and tastes!

I'm using the ics launcher, and while its far from perfect it can only get better. Virtual buttons, running apps carousel, and themed widgets are awesome!

this launcher and its widgets can actually be run using less power and saving more battery than any other launcher I have tried.

Bingo, that's what I love about it. Absolutely no limit to what you can do with the appearance. And it looks more professional than any other launcher out there.

Have you added anything other than the launcher? Which phone specifically are you running. I've honestly never had a hiccup. I'm wondering if its playing bad with something else.

And when you uninstall it your phone stops "constantly freezing"? Then when you reinstall it the phone starts freezing again?
