I am planning on getting an android phone in the near future.

Is there any really "hot" phone hat is expected (or rumored) to be releases in the relatively near future?

I know sprint is getting the photon and galaxy 2.

Is verizon getting anything like that?

    Thanks

*waits for flood of bionic posts*

Imo, nothing interests me enough to buy. Bionic looks great but after my horrid experience with the x2, I will never go near a moto device again

I'm personally watching out for the sgs2 or the next htc device to come To vzw.

Galaxy S2 is the way to go , it'll probably take a while to be released on VZ but I wouldn't settle for any lesser phone like the Crapionic .

Could be a while. I haven't seen any rumors about any of the carriers versions of it. Usually we get pictures of a version of it, with specs, FCC tests....and various other things.

There have been rumors of the phone being delayed for various reasons (like the Apple vs Samsung battle that is going down and possible supply issues).
