Best choice for my situation

Hey, recently was forced to upgrade(?) from a OG Droid to a D2G. This things a BIT harder to work with than my OG... Currently Im running ROMER and Liberty 2.0. Love the look and functionality... though I hate having to run "Blink" to change the color of my LED...
Like I said, it runs well and looks great, but it seems a bit hard on my battery. Currently my OG is being used as a spare battery charger (lol) and Ill go thru 3 batteries a day avg. I mean, I DO use it a lot. Mostly for TXT and looking up stupid crap on the internet. Facebook here and there... what would be the most battery efficient ROM solution for this?

I've had the best batt life with hexen. Cm4d2g is stable, but lacks sensors(same as liberty), but I haven't ran it long enough to compare batt life.

Does Hexen have the sensors? I didnt know how much I liked em till they were gone, lol

HeXen is a fully functioning, stable rom made just for the d2g.
