Skip Opera, its terrible on the Droid.
The built in browser is quite good, but Dolphin looks to be even better!!

Dolphin or the regular browser at this time. You can not go wrong with either. Worlds ahead of BB and most others and right up there with the Iphones Safari. Excellent whichever you choose. If you like the pinch type zoom then Dolphin would be the way to go. Try both...hell...they are free.

Look for the mobile version of Firefox sometime next year. Until then, the stock browser on the Droid is my favorite.

Isn't the stock Browser Google Chrome?

I tried Chrome on my notebook when it 1st came out & it was kinda OK. I reloaded it today and it seems to be a lot better.

    Dolphin is pretty cool though.

I am all about the stock browser. I think it's way better than Dolphin. Fullenwider surprisingly they don't call it Chrome; not sure why. You'd think it would help with branding to have the name both places but they just call it "Browser."

I've been using the stock browser. Pinch-to-zoom doesn't seem that important to me, and the double tap zoom is great when browsing with one hand.

The pinch zoom on dolphin is okay, but I prefer the long press which brings up a semicircle that you can zoom from single handed. I also think dolphin is faster than stock. IMHO

I found myself bouncing to other web pages with the double tap and all the embedded links.

I was using the stock until I got Dolphin. I passed on Opera as I had heard from others it was not good on the Droid as of now. In testing Dolphin vs stock; I found that pages seem to load faster using Dolphin. Dolphin also uses gestures that you can set for certain actions which is helpful and you can flip through multiple screens as well. Pinch and zoom is nice but it's the speed and features that will keep me with them until Firefox releases.

For me I use both Dolphin and the stock browser depending on what I am doing. I am not big on pinch and zoom although I use it occasionally. What I don't care for in the stock browser is that there is no setting for computer or whatever it is called so the browser goes to the full page and not the mobile one. I hated trying to login to espn and getting the mobile site. Dolphin allows you to set this option.

I've been on Dolphin for over two weeks and, at this moment, it appears to be the best. It could use a little fine tuning, but pretty nice. I love the gestures ant the semi-circle zoom. Using the stock browser, I kept bouncing to an imbedded link. Jmho
