Help me. What are the best apps to download?
Depends on who you ask as best is always highly subjective, regardless of topic. There are tons of app recommendations threads in this very subforum. Be sure to check them out for some ideas. No need to reinvent the wheel over and over and over.
Looking for any types of apps in particular?
um like a cool app. Like this one or idk. Like fun apps not games though.
I've installed a lot of different apps, but I usually end up taking them off to keep things uncluttered and fast. Apps I've kept and found useful are:
- 3banana (good notes app, syncs with online web site)
- Astrid (task manager)
- Slacker, Pandora, or iheartradio (streaming music)
- Shazam (identifies songs)
- Skyfire (web browser, view pages like a desktop more easily)
- TV.com (streaming video, best quality when on WiFi)
- Video Player (great basic video player)
ahh i was bored.
I just downloaded Poweramp. It took me a while to figure out how to configure my playlists. But once I discovered the secret––click on the two curly and crossed arrow buttons an the main screen––I really love it. The interface is truly elegant, simple, and versatile. It solved all my music playing problems.
Why doesn't anybody ever write down the most basic functions of apps. The reason seems to be, "That is so obvious that we don't bother to tell anyone. Besides, everybody knows that." Both of these statements are often false.
