I can't come close to touching 1600 on any rom on the Droid 1. This puzzles me. Also, how does the 1.2 kernel run with PE Rom in comparison to the stock 1.0

I Highly suggest The Project Elite Rom it is new Rom out very great Results in my opinion it is way better than B.B & I run the slayher 1.2 ghz kernel in setcpu I run it at interactive mode witch when you are not using your droid it scales your Cpu down to the lowest level you have it set but when you are using it ...it scales your cpu to the highest level you have it set to

I got a 1559 with the 1.2 slayher kernel. As far as everyday use compared to the original kernel, I can't tell much difference. It's pretty snappy either way.

on just about any rom, i usually "only" install a 1.0 kernel. i will typically hit between 1175 and 1250. but with Proj Elite, with just the stock 1.0 SLaYHer, i've scored above 1400 (at 1472 no less) for the first time EVER on my phone, and i routinely hit above 1325 - that is just unheard of!!

I installed slayher 1200 v1.6 and average between 1400-1470 has been my highest mark.
Whenever i've used Chevy's Kernels, i couldnt install anything over 1.1, regardless of the voltage.

Been running PE for about 4 days and like it so far. Only 1 FC so far.

I'm running PE with stock Slayher kernel, BnB theme and I hit 1349. I guess I can't complain but I'm yet to see anything near 1600+

So far it seems to be doing fine. I haven't been running in long, I just flashed it last night at work. On most of the roms I've run in the past I've had to drop back to a 1.1 or 1.15, so I'll see how it goes. Even with the stock kernel this rom does very well. My quadrant scores were consistently between 1200 and 1300. I'm running the Galaxy S theme.

just for sh*ts and giggles, try SLaYHer's 1.2 kernel on PE, and see what you get - it'll be jawdropping, i can almost guarantee you...

I did some comparisons between Slayher's 1ghz (1349) and 1.25g (1645). I was blown away that the 1.25ghz benched as high as it did. I included a screen of my home screen and the bench.

one of the main reasons I like using slayher kernels over any other kernels are it is none of the few kernels that support interactive on set cpuis yo it is such a better battery life saver....

also some people were saying they don't get consistant benchmarks are I use a cache cleaner the free one in the market for root users it cleans a lot of the cookies out i usually get 2mb-6mb cleaned out

I routinely hit between 1400 to 1475 with the stock 1.0 Slayer kernel that comes in PE.

What's everyone using to monitor CPU temp? Still running SetCpu for profiles or something else?
