became incredibly slow out of no where - here's what i tried

So I haven't really downloaded any new apps or anything that I think would of made my phone slower.

I cleared my history,cache, etc

also, my screen will become unresponsive randomly and when texting will randomly freeze and go back.
I then downloaded a touchscreen test app and there is nothing wrong with the touch screen

...any ideas?

Install a program like AutorunManager, that will list all the apps that start when the phone boots up. Uninstall as many as you can. Also buy Fast Reboot Pro, and in the manage exclude list, check all the apps you dont want restarting. Schedule the Fast Reboot for at least once a day, and maybe once at night (or early AM). I did these steps and its been an incredible difference.
