Just rooted my 2.2 with Soup or Root 2.03 Beta 1
Successfully rooted and got the pirate skull bones and downloaded titanium backup and it verified that I was rooted.

Then I used RSDlite 4.6.7z and flashed Nandroid Recovery 0.99.3b
So now I can go to the recovery screen.

Then I download from Petes site FRG22DV05
Renames it update and put it on my sdcard

I follow the directions get to recovery, wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition three times each. Go to install, Allow update.zip Installation, then Install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated)

THis is what my screen looks like

    -- Install from sdcard...
    Finding update package...
    Opening update package...
    Verifying update package...
    E:update.zip install blocked
    Installation aborted.

Any ideas??? On how to flash it. Thanks in advance.

You have to click , "allow update.zip from SDcard" , if not you get that error .

I clicked on allow the first time.

I just tryed using Rom Manager. That program sucks. It just freezes at the M. So i had to pull the battery it would load up as normal. I'm gonna reflash my phone with the latest sbf file from petes site.

Another question when i downloaded the bbv05 from petes site in his blog it was 80 megabytes long. But when i look in the download section he has a odexed and deodexed and they are both 60 some megabytes longs. Whats the differance between the three.
