I have had some issues with running these scripts but have made some progess.

    Using Ternimal Editor

    $ su
    #enable scripts (worked)

    #rmcorpcal (worked)

    #movecache (Did not work)

    #mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
    #chmod 777 /system/xbin/enablescripts
    #enablescripts (Worked)

    #movecahce (returned)
#mkdir failed for /sdcard/cache, File exits
#mkdir failed for /sdcard/cache,marketCache, File exits
#mkdir failed for /sdcard/cache,webviewCache, File exits
#mkdir failed for /sdcard/cache,streetCache, File exits
    Moved Cache To SD Card

So did it work? How can I verify that the cahe is no longer in the internal memory. (didn't change freee memory, but I did this before using the apps so there miight not have been much/any data)

Does the system now write new cache to the SD card, or do I need to periodically run this - but that would make much sense would it, or am I missing what this is supposed to do?

Love the ROM super fast and stable for 1 week now.

The scripts have mountsys and unmountsys which do the remounting ro,rw for you.

I've found that his scripts don't really have much error checking in them. It just goes for it, and if it worked then great, if not, who knows what it did.

I kept getting file not found until I mounted the card. But the remove calendar worked without mounting explicitly. Do you have to call a mount script or is it in each of the scripts?
