is your phone trying to download the 2.1 update?

well on v0.9 i have been having the same problem....i was running v0.9 stock with no changes, i didn't change the kernel, the theme, or even the launcher. If i go to sleep with the phone at 100% battery it's at 30-40% by the morning (about 6-7 hrs) the battery info says it's cell standby with time without signal at 0% and phone idle sorry but i don't remember the percentages of battery use for each. And by the way it's without getting any calls, text, or emails either. Thanx for any help....in the mean time i'm running stock v0.8 right now with similar issues but not as bad.

FWIW, I've had situations where when I'm in an area with a very weak signal, my battery gets drained to hell searching for a signal.

I have the same issue. after 5 hrs of moderate use I'm down to 20% of battery. I'm running Helix launcher with 7 screens. I think the batter on this phone just sux ass.

well it's not a BB0.9 issue for every phone because I unplugged my phone yesterday morning at 7 AM and now 36 hours later my phone is just about dead, at 15% left. So I would say my battery life is excellent!!!!!

I know this doesn't help you out specifically, but I just wanted to say it's possible to have good battery life.

It was testing your allegiance to the Droid Army. Had you failed and traded it in for another phone you would have been terminated without prejudice by the HTC Droid Terminator. Be thankful you passed your test. :icon_ banana:

IDK if this helps anyone but when I installed BBv1 it was killing my battery like crazy and then I found the culprit: I had OC'd to 1.2 and my OC profile was set to performance and not on demand so it was constantly running at full power. Once I changed that all was well.
