BB V0.3 - Skymap issue

    I forced Earth to install to SD - and it didn't help, because Earth insists upon downloading and caching data to /data, so 12 of the 15mb end up being in /data anyway. I suspect the next time Earth gets updated it will get support for SD. But given how infrequently Google updates their apps, that will happen sometime in 2011.

    So far, yeah. What does pm getInstallLocation tell you?
    Try setting it to 0 or 1, and try installing it, wiping the app data and cache, uninstalling it, and reinstalling it. Random suggestions, but that's what I would try if I were having that problem. Also, I would probably manually delete things that said "skymap" in the /data directory.

    tried both 0 and 1 before. Searched entire phone root and sd card for anything skymap. nothing. Did 3 wipes and fresh install of this rom. still same error.

    got it working.....had to copy all my data off the sd. format it. then install skymap. then copy back all the sd data.

    downloaded this in the mall and installed it while buying some t-shirts...gotta love pete and our phones...

    skipped v.2 after having accidental reboot issues..this is the first upgrade that successfully installed EVERY SINGLE ONE of my apps all by itself...thank you pete.
