Hello all, I've done a little research before posting here, but I can't seem to find anything on it. I recently rooted my Droid and installed BB V.05, but for some reason, whenever I get a text message or notification in general, my phone will not vibrate. I have checked settings and the setting is on "Vibrate Always" Any words of wisdom?

I just recently did this as well, but had no problems after BB. Try flashing back and reflashing BB again remember to let it boot twice and wipe cache.

Download Sound Manager from the market (Daniel Roozen is the dev). It's free.

Menu-->Vibrate settings. Change Notification Settings to Vibrate Whenever Possible. That should fix things!

    Report back if that works.

Do you use Locale or another sound managing app?

    Locale will override your defaults.

Downloaded Sound Manager, Did not work. Not using Locale or any other Sound manager. However, I downloaded and flashed Cyanogen Mod 6.0 but that did not resolve my problem either. So, maybe it's a root issue? It's just that when I rooted my Droid I was still getting the vibrate notification but as soon as I flashed to BB it went away.

I have been having the EXACT same issue. I have posted it many times on many different forums and no one seems to be able to figure it out. As I am a fairly advanced user myself, I am starting to wonder if it is just a problem with my specific phone. strangely, for some reason I DO get vibrations when using MIUI Rom and FRG22D ODEXED (not de-odexed! by Pete)

Lets try to keep this thread going and maybe we can figure this out...

Still no vibrate...Only thing I haven't tried is a different kernel.
