I have a droid 1, with sprecovery in it. The phone was bought off ebay so I can't explain what was in it before, or any possible hack job that was done prior to it. I put in BB when it first came out and had no issue with it. Then once the update came out about a month or 2 ago it kept trying to force to phone to accept the update. Once SPrecovery gets ahold of it it stops the update, BUT I get the update sent to the phone at least twice a week. I tried to do a nandroid restore and allowed the update on just the rooted phone. Then I re-flashed in BB v0.5 and it is still trying to force the update.
Is there anyway to get rid of this update for good?

I know it is using SPR and I got that about 6 months ago. The problem is I do not know what was done with it before I got it. I just tryed flashing in 6.2.1 BB and see if that fixes my issue.
What are the differences is SPR and RZR? is it worth changing?

RZR is definitely better. It has a lot more options and it's menus are more user friendly (imho).

    Good luck.
