Are you coming from the older BB, the "2.0.1 roms"? if so, i don't think there is a way to do it without a pc. to update from 2.0.1, Pete recommends that you do the nandroid way, rather than update.zip. The nandroid comes packed as a .rar, which i don't believe you can unpack on your droid.

if you are coming from his newer 2.1 roms, you just need the update.zip file, which you can use from your phone. just download the file, then using astro, move the file from the download folder to the root of the sd card. make sure you rename that file to update.zip.

either way, i think it is easier to do all of this from my pc, so hopefully you can find your wire.

i would recommend bb v1.1 as it has all features of 2.1 and none of the bugs.

been running BB for a few months now and love it not interested in the 1.1 really at the moment i might go back to it but the 2.1 build is very stable only one bug that i can really see with the led atm

the 2.1 build also runs faster and cooler then the 2.0.1 base
