1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

At what point does the file it put back in after you delete it?

I bought a new battery and charger and figure if I use the charger to charge to full and wipe battery stats and put the new bat in I should be good to go.

I'm thinking I wipe battery stats from recovery with old battery. Then turn phone off (or pull battery) and put the new battery in and boot up. This will work, unless battery stats comes back immediately after wiping while still in recovery.

Turn phone off, put new battery in, Boot into recovery, and wipe battery stats, charge till full, let stay charging for 2hrs, then use till dead. and enjoy. lol

Thanks, that's usally how I do it. I was mainly just curious as to exactly when the new batterystats.bin file is created and if you delete it in recovery does it come back while still in recovery or not til the phone boots back up.

From what I've read, the new one is written when the bootlogo appears.

If you delete it while your phone appears, it comes back shortly after. Its how i just calibrated my battery. The app i used is battery calibration but all it does is delete batterystats.bin

Don't you also have to let it fully charge again without even touching it after it dies?
