Battery ?

Is it recommended allowing the battery to go completely dead, then recharging it? I know some other devices I've had recommend this. I saw nothing in the manual on this topic. TIA

When the phone is new its a good idea to condition the battery yea. I don't let it go completely dead but when it gets around 5-10 percent I shut it off, let it charge completely, turn it on and then unplug it. I do this for the first 2-3 days.
