Battery or charger issue?

i have a verizon galaxy s4. Last few days my phone is losing battery quicker. When I'm charging it I get a message that says slow charging please use charger that came with device. Which I am. Do you think it's a battery or charger issue?

It could be a number of things. Have you done an OS update lately? A factory reset may help or it could just be a cable issue.

Haven't had an update to do lately. Hoping Not To Do A reset

I would try swapping the cable first.

Direct clue wrong cable is used.
Use original, or one under 2 feet long.
