Need some help please, I was trying to flash 2.2.340 from 2.2.320 OTA rooted. RSD Flash said successful and rebooted but when i tried to manually boot I got...

    Boot loader
    30.03
    Err: A5,70,39,00,27
    Battery Low cannot program

I can't tell if it's charging and I assume it's not because it's been on the charger for about 20 mins and I still get the same error codes. Did I brick this little guy or what? should I get a new battery? should I try the usb hotwire method? I don't know where to go from here

its not charging the battery. you need to find a friend with a DX to charge it, split a USB cable, or get an external charger

Thank you very much for the response. I quit staring at it like a dumbass waiting for it to magically come back to life on it's own and tried the usb method but its not goin to well. I don't know if 2 pins are pos and 2 are neg or if its just 1 pos and one neg... I'm suckin today. lots of deep breaths.

Thanks Hook. I have the USB cable split and hooked directly to the battery terminals. We'll see how that works and go from there. Very much appreciated

Well I held the usb cables on the terminal by hand and it seems to be the only thing that worked. I'm still in the bootloader but it says battery ok and ok to program so I'm going to try to flash 2.2.320 again before i try .340 fingers are crossed.

    fixed

    The usb method worked.

Held usb wires pos and neg to corresponding battery terminals for about ten mins and that gave me enough juice to flash sbf .315 with RSD lite 4.9 and then i used shadows .340 and then installed Rubix 1.9.5 focused (which was my overall goal to begin with.)

*If your phone says low battery cannot program don't fear. As the rescue squad mentioned above there are a couple of methods to try, use a friends phone to charge batt, externally charge, or split usb cable.

Thanks for those that helped! I love this forum, it always has great advice. Thanks Drod for the great Rom
