Battery life??

Just wanted to update everyone. Check out this awesome battery life :rating10:

There are always TWO areas of information needed when reporting battery life. Your screen shot shows one piece. The other piece of info needed is "screen on time". One piece is totally meaningless without the other.

replace it with a larger capacity extended battery, maybe 4000~5000mah

Had this happen overnight for the first time. No idea what caused my phone to constantly wake like that and drain the battery. Any ideas?

Did you look at the battery drain chart to see what was using your battery?

I did. Nothing outta the ordinary. I force close maps and browser if I notice they're open late at night, just so there's nothing that can use data at all overnight. Cell standby is high but it's always been for the last 3 week's I've had the phone. Every morning it'd lose like 5% maybe more, but nothing like what it did 2 nights ago when it dam near drained the whole battery overnight. That's what doesn't make sense to me, it's been the same location every night so the cell signal wouldn't fluctuate by that much. I remember using spare parts on my OG to check what would cause wakelock, but I'm still stock right now.

I use my SIII pretty heavily during the work day and thru the evenings and consistently get a little over 24 hrs per charge from 100% to 15%. I use network data at work and wifi when at home and turn off both at night. Not bad for something that is more powerful than my last laptop.

Im wondering the same thing. Lately it seems like I can't get more than 10 hours out of the battery. Android system seems to have a large amount of wake locks. Any idea what could be causing this?

If im not mistaken the screen shot is showing that my phone is awake a lot..

True, but if you can see what is killing your battery, sometimes a tweek of a setting or two makes all the difference.

When you click on android system, what info do you get? Also, what were the battery percentages? Do you have the Google play store set to auto update?
