Battery life on CM7. Let's hear it...

Does anyone know of a free power management app? The Blur power management app was awesome, mainly for the off-hours low power usage mode, and I'm looking for something similar (though my phone only used about 8% from 12 AM - 7:30 AM, so that's already pretty good). JuiceDefender is supposed to be good, but I really don't want to pay $5 to just save a few battery percentage points of power each night.

Juicedefender works pretty well. It shuts off your data in the background when youre not using it.

my battery life is pretty horrible... i have an extended battery and i am running ~8-10% per hour with light/moderate use AND i am under volted to 50vsel @ 1000mhz, and most of my settings are tweaked for longest battery life (1 hour email poll, manual widget refreseh ect)

on apexrc2 i was getting 30-36 hours on a charge, now im down to 10-14

i am running the nightly #29 i think, have to find one with better battery life, i love the mod though... if i could get my apex battery life id be a happy camper

I am still on 25, but I have not had the issues with battery life everyone reports. On my extended battery I am getting about 30-35 hours with moderate usage (25 min calls, 20 texts, 30 emails, FB and Twitter sync every 30 min, weather update once an hour plus some web and music streaming). With the same usage I was seeing about 40-42 hours on ApeX. A little less on CM7, but still good. My guess is there are some apps that cause issues. I know that the V6 supercharger and imoseyon tweaks totally mess my CM7 install up. They cause my phone to run hot and freeze while the screen is off and random reboots. I am slightly undervolted - 1000MHz@56V. So battery life seems to be quite subjective as some are doing great and some not so much. Good luck.

Last night before I put the charger on, I was at 19 hours 48 min., with screen on 4 hours 54 min. and my OEM extended battery was still at 34%.

I'm going back yet again to CM7. I started out using all the various 596 roms, then CM7 and fell in love. I stayed from rc0 on 06-17-11 to 12-13 then back to 596 roms then back to 20-25, now I'm going back to CM7 and try to give it a few days and calibrations for battery life to get better.

Just wondering what your setup is, Voltages, tweaks, etc you have done if any to get that kind of life, and which nightly are you on?

I had great battery life on nightly 8 but ever since switching to 19 and then 25 it's been bad.

So I had pretty horrible battery life and decided to sbf to see if it helps. I'm impressed! With light usage (some texting, facebook, maps, a couple of phone calls) I'm at 20 hors and still 30%. screen seems to eat up a lot of battery, but idling seems very efficient. Nightly 29 here.

very happy with my battery life on CM7.

I'm on #31, and yesterday had 16+ hours of moderately heavy use. That includes 3 hours of display on, and at about 30% battery use ("spare parts" stats).

That's a complete day for me, using my phone alot. Weird how people's experience varies so much.

So I uninstalled android overclock and flight stats and my battery life on cm7 about doubled.

Still not as good as apex batt life but definitely good enough for me to keep running cm7

Nightly 24; 25+ sucks battery really fast! Anyways, I'm at 18+ hours with light use and mostly on wifi on 24. I was on nightly 29 and my battery dropped 85% over 7 hours in standby with screen off while I was sleeping.

After uninstalling Android Overclock and upgrading to each nightly I have seen an increase in my battery life. I have no idea what's in the nightlies or if they even include anything to help the battery life. I can tell you though for mine it's been getting alittle bit better here of late, consistently.

I'm on nightly #31 -- They need to fix the battery drain problem. 5 hours 40 minutes, down to 54% from a full charge. Cell standby using 67%.

Image was at 11:21am and i was at 54% now its 1:06pm and down to 31%.

Liberty 0.9 is getting put back on the minute I get home.

5 hours and 40 minutes on battery as of right now and I am sitting at 50%... phone idle and voice calls are sucking my battery down even faster than my display! Sad thing is, I have made 4 calls today all less than 5 minutes.

I am on nightly 33.

That's crazy. I'm not happy with mine either, but I was using it heavy. I would be very sad if a few calls drained me that much!

I couldn't believe how much cell stand by killed my phone.
