So, this may have been discussed before, but I'm curious.
If my battery is at 50%, is it really 50%, or 47%, or 44%?
Why is the battery rounded up (or down) to the nearest multiple of 10.

Not that it's a big deal, but if my battery is 44%, I want to know it's 44%, not 40% or 50%. Is this a bug, or by design?

Coming from a BB, I really liked the MeterBerry app, too bad nothing like that exists (yet) for the Droid.

I believe ahome and some of the other home replacements will display the battery charge in percent. Also there are widgets you can use. Check out batterywidget and batterylife. Hope this helps.

Get the app battery left. It will give you an accurate percentage. Does take a few days to get calibrated.

I have the battery life widget for now... granted it's still reporting 10% increments, but it'll do until I can get battery left configured/calibrated properly. Thanks!

Battery left...not battery life. Dont know if they are different or not. lol

Mine was originally in 10% increments now that you mention it. When you click to open it, hit the options button and have it recalibrate it. Then it started working right.
