PM the link where you got it from, or let me know where it is. I am going to reboot real quick.

I tried a homebrew ESE53 SBF just now, and I am back to failing RSD Lite.

    No.

Your baseband should end in a .03P.

Hey...I got the same I/O error.

Now I am stuck in RSD Hell again. I should have left well enough alone when I got 03P, but I wanted my dang custom boot image. Now I am back to 01P and RSD fails every stinkin' time again.

Are you booted into the bootloader mode? (Not recovery mode)

When you guys launch RSD, does it gve you any info about the phone? Like the ESN, SW version, technology. They all say N/A for me.

Bootloader and AP Die ID are the only ones with any info when I open RSD.

    AH HAH!!

I removed the Motorola drivers, and the SBF flash went off just fine. I did it three times in a row to be sure. Now, I am going to try the SBF with my custom boot image and see what happens.

    Droid Mod Boot Logo

I successfully changed my boot logo to the DM Droid!!!

    Picture of Screen:
    0321000127.jpg

    Video of it on Boot:
    0321000143.3g2

I have the .SBF file I made to do it with if you want it PM me. Just remember you do all of these mods at your own risk.

Well, I must be an ID10T because I can't even get the Android SDK installed on my Vista Home Premium 64-bit PC. So no ADB for me. I definitely, am not going to try flashing with RSDLite if I can't unroot the phone.

Every time I read the SDK installation directions, my head hurts. :D

Thanks for the offer. I have the boot logo down for 01P. I am trying to get a custom boot logo on 03P. So far, my custom made SBF for 03P is failing at 97% and giving me a critical error on the Droid.

    Back to the drawing board.....
