Are you trying to install SPRecovery from the Droidroothelper app??

I wouldn't use that app personally....cause you don't know what you're actually doing when you just press those buttons!

Install SPRecovery 0.99.3b yourself and learn how to do these things for future hacking!! Educate yourself

I have no idea about the Droidroothelp app, but the SMupdater (Sholes) worked flawlessly to install and create a SPRecovery backup. So if its 7:59 and you don't have an answer... That's my $.02

SMupdater is a pay for app (donation) in the market that can help you. Or you can download it free from the sholes.info team website. Donations are preferred as these devs work hard to make our lives easier. SMupdater won't just root and allow backups though...it will give you the ability to install custom ROMs developed by the team to make your phone more than just a droid....it will be a robot.

Simply click on it and follow the instructions....

When you first launch it, it should pop up and ask for root permissions....REMEMBER TO CHECK "REMEMBER" BEFORE YOU CLICK "ALLOW"

Take a deep beath and slow down. Read each page carefully. Just take your time and you will be OK. Be sure not to rush through the decisions. However, It is easy to go back and either unselect or select options you may or may not want to keep or add.
