Does a Nandroid or Clockwork backup backup the kernel as well? I ask because I am running BBv0.4 and its stock kernel. It is a great setup and I have had no problems with it.

However, if I want to try a faster kernel and I then want to go back to the old kernel, would the backup restore the kernel that I had?

    Thanks in advance!

I'm no expert and definitely do not have a bugless backup, but I do have an onix and cyanogen back up i flip back and forth between, and my cyanogen backup has a p3 kernel that is always there on a restore, as opposed to the onix which restores with stock. i use setcpu too so i know the kernel is truly there or not on backup bcuz of clocking speeds.

I'm pretty sure a Nandroid back-up backs up all firmware except the baseband for the radio.
