How do I restore my apps so that the market reads that I have them. I need to update a few of them, mainly this Drag Racing app, and when I update I lose my data. I can always restore the app to the state before I update with titanium backup and get my user data back, but I need to update.

    I have CM7, btw.

If I restore an app and its data and go to "my apps" in the market, it doesn't show that I have them most of the time. For this particular app, Drag Racing, it showed up, and there's an update I need. When I update, I lose all my user data. This isn't a problem with the app, I'm already certain of that.

There are other apps I have this problem with, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Try clearing market data and cache then rebooting or just install the particular apps that won't usually update for you from the market first then restoring from titanium backup and select data only...that should bring back the everything you saved on the app, if it doesn't appear right away, reboot

I installed the app first from the market, then restored the data for that app and it worked. Thank you very much, I didn't know you could restore data only, I never saw the option because the app was never redownloaded from the market first. This helps me greatly, thanks again!
