AVI Video Player

Is there an AVI video player for the droid, or will there be one? If not, what format should i convert my avi movie to?

I just use Handbrake..free download...to convert avi to mp4. Then drag and drop. Use the ipod/iphone setting and it works like a charm.

Avi's aren't supported in in Android unforunately, I think 3gp, mpeg, mp4 are the only ones. I personally wish we didn't have to convert lol

+1 for handbrake and preset settings for optimum droid playback!

Do a search on handbrake settings. I have posted my personal settings several times on here. All other converters I have tried went out of sync after FF or RW. Handbrake never did.

I also recommend Act1 video player in the market.

MagicalOnes, yep thats my favorite also but lots use handbrake, I think I can do a little more with AVS
