Whats up guys, im a new droid user. Came from the Crapberry world. One setting on there that i loved though was the ability to set times for your phone to automatically turn on and off. This helped save a ton of battery life because you didnt have to remember to turn it off or on yourself. I didnt do it for long timespans, just for the latest hours like 2am-6am. Does anyone know of an app or setting that will allow for this. I have yet to be successful in my quick search for one.

    Thanks in advance

I don't think there is an app that will actually turn your phone OFF, but the DX has a battery manager that can turn off all data at times that you specify. There are also apps that can put your phone in airplane mode (shuts off all radios) at certain times. That is pretty much as good as shutting off your phone. My Droid 1 has been sitting on my desk in airplane mode since I got the DX (day of release) and I barely had to put it on the charger last night.
