AT&T has a pretty solid new double data promotion until the end of October. Here are the
details,

AT&T Offers New Promotional Mobile Share Value Plans that are Double the Data for Same Price on Plans 15 to 50GB
DALLAS, Sept. 27, 2014 -- Beginning Sunday, Sept. 28, AT&T is offering new promotional Mobile Share Value plans that include double the amount of data offered on Mobile Share Value plans with 15GB to 50 GB of data. New and existing customers who proactively sign-up by October 31* get 30GB of data for the price of 15GB** – perfect for families and small business customers. AT&T customers will benefit from this offer, which includes domestic unlimited talk and text, as well as unlimited international messaging from the U.S. to select countries.

What can you do with 30GB of data in one month?

  • Surf the web for 600 hours
  • Stream HD video for 40 hours
  • Stream music for 250 hours
  • Upload 1000 photos to your favorite social media site
  • Download 200 apps, games or songs
  • And, send 1000 emails with attachments
Consumers can share data on up to 10 lines. If you are a business customer needing more lines, you can share 60GB – 100GB on up to 25 lines.

And if you sign-up by October 31, you can keep your new promotional shared data amount as long as you want – there’s no expiration. If you need to change your shared data amount after the promotional period ends, you will need to select from the current Mobile Value Share offers.

Was going to jump on that but I'm barely getting through half of my 10gb after the last double data deal.

It's unfortunate Verizon won't budge. Verizon is too far gone, and they're just fighting for silver now.

Close, but still not cheaper than my current unlimited 3 smart phone plan. Now, I'll have to pay attention to the new throttling rules, that could force my hand, to either change plans or to AT&T. We only use about 10 GB a month with my son occasionally racking up close to 10 or more himself and a max of 17GB.
